cruise in the Greek islands is pretty much the ideal holiday for anyone who longs
for sun, sand and shopping. If culture is also your thing, then there's plenty of
that to be found, considering the thousands of years of Greek history! Your free
time really is your own here as you sail between Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Patmos
and a quick stop in Turkey at Kusadasi. Beautiful hilltop villages, relaxing days
spent on a beach or the ship deck, and stunning sunsets. You can't help wishing
everyday was like this!
Itinerary
Day 1Depart for
Europe
Your exciting European trip
begins.
Day 2Arrive
Athens
After checking in to your hotel,
the day is yours to take a sneak preview of Athens before meeting your Tour
Representative and fellow travellers this evening at the hotel. After your
meeting, maybe join us in the traditional Plaka area for dinner - a great way
to kick off your tour!
Day 3Athens to
Mykonos
Today we head to the port and
our ferry to the Cycladic island of Mykonos. (B,D)
Day 4 and
5 Mykonos
Three days to relax on the
beach, explore the shops or check out one of the many bars and clubs.

Day 6Mykonos to
Turkey
A third full day on Mykonos for
you to continue relaxing or maybe do some last minute shopping before
boarding your ship and setting sail for Turkey early this evening.

Day 7Cruising to Patmos via
Kusadasi
We dock this morning at the port
of Kusadasi. Explore the local bazaar or perhaps take an excursion to the
ancient ruins of Ephesus. Returning to the ship around lunch time, we sail
for Patmos where St John is reputed to have written the book of Revelation.
Time to explore this small island before rejoining the ship.

Day 8Cruising to Santorini via
Crete
We dock in Crete, the largest of
the Greek islands, before sailing for Santorini. This spectacular volcanic
island is in the Cycladic chain of islands. Enjoy Fira and its narrow paved
streets with plenty of opportunity to shop in the many boutiques.

Day 9Arrival into
Athen
Transfer into central Athens
where your tour ends. Maybe join us for a sightseeing tour of Athens to see
the Acropolis? (B)
