Go everywhere, all at once, without spending your life
savings! This tour heads south to Spain, East to Turkey and Bulgaria, winds along the Dalmatian
Coast, up to Prague and Amsterdam. No stone is left unturned! Camping is all about getting in and helping
out which is what makes it so much fun. Itinerary
Day 1 Depart for Europe Jet off to the trip of a lifetime awaiting you in
Europe!
Day 2 Arrive
London
Check-in to your hotel after 2pm and the remainder of the day is free to relax before meeting your fellow
travellers at 6pm. After dinner take a short walk to explore nearby Covent Garden.
Day 3 London to
Paris - Twin Share Tent Your Tour Manager knows all the ins and outs of where you’re going and your
tour’s own Cook will make sure you get big portions of tasty meals, made from fresh, local produce. Then we hit
the road and take a ferry past the White Cliffs of Dover. We travel via World War 1 battle fields in the Valley
of the Somme to Paris. (D)
Day 4 &
5 Paris - Twin Share Tent Time in Paris includes a trip out to France’s most well-known
chateau: Versailles, once home to the Sun King, Louis 14th and hot spot of the French Revolution. Check out the
impressive exterior of this extravagant palace. Then there’s an opportunity to explore the former royal family’s
luxurious living quarters. (B)(B,D)
Day 6 Paris to
Lyon - Twin Share Tent Southbound, roll on through Burgundy’s wine country to Beaujolais’ green hills
and vineyards. (B,D)
Day 7 Lyon to
Barcelona - Twin Share Tent Today, it’s on to Pont du Gard in Southern France. It’s a stunning bridge
with 2000 year old arches spanning across the river. This imposing Roman Aqueduct is an impressive feat of
ancient engineering. We keep heading south through the rugged and dramatic scenery of the Pyrénées mountains,
over the border, into Barcelona.

Day 8 Barcelona -
Twin Share Tent First stop: Mont Juic. The hilltop has full-blown vistas of the city and it’s where we
stop to check out the 1992 Olympic Games complex. (B)

9 Barcelona to French Riviera - Twin Share Tent Unwind on the coach
and take in the rustic beauty of Provence, known for its pretty landscapes of lavender, sunflowers and wild
herbs. (B,D)
Days 10 French
Riviera - Twin Share Tent
Next stop on the Riviera and home to the French perfume industry is Fragonard Perfumery. Learn about how perfume is
made and some of its more surprising ingredients. Tonight get a taste of the high life in Monaco, the glamorous
principality packed into just 1.92km2 and home to the Formula 1. Get the inside story on the royal family and their
place of residence from your Tour Manager. (B,D)
Day 11 French
Riviera to Venice -Twin Share Tent
Onwards to Italy and Verona, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Get romantic and stand under one of the world’s
most famous shrines to love, Juliet’s balcony from Romeo and Juliet. Check out the main shopping street and the
Roman arena, before heading on to Venice. (B,D)
Day 12
Venice - Twin Share Tent
Known as the “floating city” Venice is packed with character, crammed with hidden lanes and linked by a network of
canals. The group travels on our private boat through the waters of the lagoon to visit the city’s historical
heart. The limestone Bridge of Sighs, the gothic arches of Doges’ Palace and the expanse of St Mark’s Square
(pigeons and all!) show off Venice’s unique beauty and way of life.

Day 13 Venice to
Florence - Twin Share Tent
Wind through the Apennine Mountains and Tuscan countryside to the Renaissance city of Florence, with a stop at the
famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. (B,D)
Day 14
Florence - Twin Share Tent
Jump start the day uncovering this open-air museum and its UNESCO World Heritage city centre. Our Local Guide gives
you the inside track as the group learns about Florence’s cultural beginnings and explores streets crammed with
artworks from masters like Michelangelo. (B)

15 Florence to Rome - Twin Share Tent
Travel through Tuscany’s rustic hills, past the recognisable cypress tree landscapes of this olive-oil producing
region, to vibrant Rome. (B)
Day 16 Rome -
Twin Share Tent
This morning, make the most of our Local Guide’s inside knowledge and uncover the remains of an ancient empire with
a fantastic optional tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Then check-out the smallest country in the world and
home to the Pope, the Vatican City. You’ve got time to take a closer look at St Peter’s Basilica or Michelangelo’s
masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel(B,D)
Days 17 Rome
to Sorrento - Twin Share Tent
From Naples, it’s a boat ride to the main marina of the island of Capri. (B)

18 Sorrento to Corfu - Overnight Cruise
Plunge into Pompeii’s well-preserved past in an interesting optional excursion and retrace ancient history with our
expert Local Guide.(B)

19-21 Corfu - Twin Share Tent
Corfu is all that’s great about Greek island living and with our fantastic campsite location, you only have to walk
down a short pathway to get to the beach. Jump on board George’s boat optional with a bunch friends for a fun day
out on the water. It will give you another angle on idyllic Corfu. Corfu also gives you the chance to dive into
action with a selection of water sports, like parasailing, banana-boating and waterskiing. Otherwise hire a car for

Day 22 Corfu to
Athens - Twin Share Tent
From Corfu, head to the mainland and travel to the impressive, man-made Corinth Canal. Athens is next, a city
crammed with myth and ancient wonders, and busy with modern, urban soul.(B,D)
Day 23
Athens - Twin Share Tent
Step back in time in Europe’s oldest city to the birthplace of democracy. Get the run down on the Parthenon and the
Acropolis from our Local Guide, as you wander around the marble columns perched above the city sprawl. Then we
check out the first modern Olympic stadium from the 1896 games.(B)
Day 24 Athens
to Kavala -Twin Share Tent
Northbound, we travel past mythical Mt Olympus, Greece’s highest peak, and stop off for a crash course in ancient
heroism at Thermopylae, where just 300 Spartan soldiers held off the invading Persian army’s masses of 1000s.

Day 25 Kavala to Eceabat - Twin Share Tent
Make a pilgrimage to the site of a major bloody battle, Gallipoli. Visit stunning Anzac Cove where World War I
troops landed, Lone Pine Cemetery, where Australian troops are buried and check out the memorial for New Zealand
soldiers. Later, we head into easy-going Eceabat. Take a walk along the waterfront, complete with stunning views
over Asia, or write some postcards back at the campsite.(B,D)
Day
26 Eceabat to Istanbul - Hotel Ferry across the Dardanelles, crossing from
Europe into to Asia, to Troy. We get inside the legend of one the world’s most famous battles and explore the
excavation site of mythical Troy. Learn how heroes and gods fought in a ten year war, as our Local Guide
unravels the layers of history. Back on the coach and into Europe, we continue on to Istanbul – the last stop on
the Silk Road and the only city in the world to span two continents.

Day 27 Istanbul -
Hotel Our Local Guide shows you one of the city’s major draw cards, the stunning Blue Mosque. It’s an
amazing building with a series of domes and minarets dominating the skyline, complete with a breathtaking
interior of tens of thousands of blue tiles. After that, we head right into the heart of the city.

Day 28 Istanbul to
Sofia - Hotel This morning, it’s on to Sofia, Bulgaria’s largest city. Once behind the iron curtain
and today an emerging capital, Sofia brings together traditional Tsarist architecture and a modern feel. It’s
the perfect place to explore on foot. Your Tour Manager will lead a walking tour through this compact town.

Day 29 Sofia to Ohrid - Twin Share Tent
Next up it’s Ohrid, packed with historic churches and tucked in between mountains and one of Europe’s most
gorgeous, oldest lakes. Our campsite is located right beside the water, so you can take a dip whenever you feel
like it. After dinner, position yourself at a lakeside terrace with a local beer and take in the peaceful
surroundings. (B,D)
Day 30 Ohrid to Durres - Hotel
Today we say farewell Macedonia and head over the border and into Albania. Albania serves up mind-blowing scenery
scattered with the remains of old war-bunkers – a sad reminder of its recent past. Your Tour Manager will give you
this country’s story on the coach as we follow the coast to our overnight stop. (B,D)
Day 31 Durres to Dubrovnik - Twin Share Tent
Sticking to the shoreline, continue through tiny Montenegro to the spectacular fortress town of Dubrovnik, well

Day 32 & 33 Dubrovnik - Twin Share Tent
With baroque buildings, museums and monasteries, this eye-catching UNESCO World Heritage Site is great to explore.
Get lost in the walled city’s web of winding streets.(B)(B,D)
Day 34 Dubrocnik to Zadar
Weaving up the Dalmation Coast towards Split, we pass crystal clear waters scattered with green islands. Meet with
Roman heritage when you wander through the domain of Dicoletian's Palace in the city centre, complete with 220
buildings and an imposing cathedral. We stop in Zadar overnight and camps in Paklencia National Park, right beside
the water. (B,D)
Day 35 Zadar to Budapest - Twin Share Tent
Cruise through s6tunning Paklencia National Park and pass Europe's largest lake, Lake Balaton, often dubbed the
'Hungarian Sea', before continuing on to the 'Paris of the East', Budapest. With two cities rolled into one, this
town has a bit of everything. Buda and Pest sit on different sides of the riber, but bring togeth the stunning
buildings and atmosphere that makes Budapest so romantic. (B,D)
Day 36 Budapest - Twin Share Tent
Our Local Guide knows all about Budapest’s bumpy history and will tell you more with a visit to the Liberation
Monument.(B)
Day 37 Budapest to Vienna - Twin Share Tent
We head into the compact old town and check out its medieval castle. Our next stop is the cultural hub of Vienna.
Tonight, we’ll head to the city’s famous amusement park,Prater Park, for a fun night of Ferris wheels, ghost trains
and over 200 attractions. (B)
Day 38 Vienna - Twin Share Tent
Your Tour Manager starts the day by introducing the group to the city’s historical heritage. There’s the imperial
grandeur of Schönbrunn Palace, the elegantly ornate State Opera House and St. Stephen’s Cathedral – a gothic
masterpiece. (B,D)
Day 39 Vienna to Prague - Twin Share Tent
Roll through Bohemia to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Český Krumlov. The town is all about old-world charm,
cute shops, cosy cafes and winding cobblestone lanes. (B,D)
Day 40 Prague - Twin Share Tent
Prague is a beautiful and atmospheric city. It’s also pretty compact, so it’s best explored on foot. Get straight
into Prague’s historic heart with your Tour Manager. You’ll walk together over the landmark Charles Bridge, through
Hradcany Castle, the home of the original Bohemian Kings and to the gothic St Vitus Cathedral, along the way.

Day 41 Prague to Munich
This morning, travel southwest to the home of the world-famous Oktoberfest, Munich - a city that blends traditional
Bavarian culture and modern lifestyle. Explore the heart of Munich’s Old Town with the crew, and head to
Marienplatz. It’s a central gathering spot famous for the Glockenspiel - a gothic clock, complete with 32 dancing
figures and 43 chiming bells. (B)
Day 42 Munich - Twin Share Tent
Give an optional bike tour a go and get off the beaten track and onto Munich’s side streets with our Local
Guide. Remember one of history’s darkest moments with a sobering stop at Dachau concentration camp. Learn more as
you walk around the site. (B,D)
Day 43 Munich to Swiss Alps
Next stop: the jaw-droppingly beautiful alpine town of Lucerne. With covered wooden bridges, cobbled lanes and
quaint buildings, Lucerne’s centre is perfect to explore on foot. (B,D)
Day 44 Swiss Alps - Twin Share Tent
It's a change of pace among Switzerland's massive alps. Take in the amazing views from the campsite. Opt to visit
Jungfrau mountain, head up the sheer slopes of this UNESCO World Heritage listed site on a cog rail to Europe's
highest railway station, and step out onto the "roof" of Europe for spine-tingling views. (B,D)
Day 45 Swiss Alps to Heidelberg
Over the border and into Germany, we head to the university town of Heidelberg. Wander around, grab a late lunch
and check out its famous baroque church. With free time this afternoon, you could relax at one of Heidelberg's pubs
with some friends or climb the gothic church's spire for great views over this pretty town. Tonight, get out and
about and experience a bit of the local studen lifestyle. (B)
Day 46 Heidelberg to Amsterdam - Twin Share Tent
The coach follows the Rhine River, weaving through valleys dotted with castles and vineyards. Next stop - the
pretty, old-world village of St Goar, complete with fairy-tale castle and even a free-standing cuckoo clock! Learn
about local know-how and get savvy on the craft of beer steins. (B,D)
Day 47 Amsterdam - Twin Share Tent
For your last night on tour, treat yourself to a feast at a rice table dinner with the group in a popular
restaurant. With this fun way to eat, you’ll be served loads of dishes from colonial times. (B)
Day 48 Amsterdam to London
After breakfast, there will be a transfer for you to Schipol Airport (estimated arrival at 10:00 am) OR choose to
take a complimentary transfer to central London with your Tour Manager and Driver and extend your stay. (B)
