Europe Singles Tour Itinerary
 Day 1 - Depart from
Home
Your vacation begins when you board your overnight flight to Budapest (Airport code - BUD). Plan your
flight to arrive on Friday. Remember you are flying home from Prague (PRG)!
Day 2 - Arrive Budapest, Hungary
Upon arrival at the Budapest Airport, you will board your shuttle and be
transferred to our hotel; shuttles will be running through out the day. Meet your tour leader and group for an
optional dinner.
Day 3 - Budapest, Hungary
Take a stroll through Budapest, the Paris of the East and see the sights
on our morning walking tour. Escorted by our English-speaking guide, see all the highlights
thatPest have to offer, plus some unexpected gems on this fascinating walking tour of magical Budapest. Hear
about the history, society and architecture of this Hungarian city. Close to our hotel admire
the impressive building of Parliament, then the Szabatsag Square with the US Embassy, Memorial of
the Russian Army. Continuation to Vörösmarty Square with the traditional Gerbeaud Cafe to the pedestrian Vaci
Street which will take us to the historical Market Hall
Explore Market Hall, the largest indoor market in Budapest with stalls offering a variety of
vegetables, fruits, cheeses and meats. Participate in an Hungarian cooking lesson and learn how to
prepare some famous Hungarian dishes and take home the recipes. After our lesson enjoy a lunch of Hungarian goulash
soup and traditional pancakes.
Our afternoon, bus sightseeing tour will take us to the Budapest elegant
Andrassy Avenue with several monuments like the Opera House, St. Steven basilika (visit inside), the Heroes
Square with the Millenary Monument, the Municipal Park with the spa Sechenyi and the Vajdahunyad Castle.
Tonight enjoy a folklore show with our Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4- Budapest, Hungary
During our morning coach tour we will explore the most beautiful and interesting sights of BUDA. With
the Danube River flowing by, the ring boulevards and the numerous eclectic and revival buildings, Budapest is
rightly considered to be the pearl of Europe. Visit the famous Fisherman's Bastion Morning, the Royal Castle,
Fisher Bastion and visit to Matthias church (inside). Continuation to the Gellert Hill with the best view of
bridges on the river Danube and the immense building of Parliament..
Budapest has over 100 hot springs, from which cca. 40 million litres
of warm thermal water gushes forth daily, as the geological fault between the Buda Hills and the Great Plain
is directly beneath Budapest. This afternoon spend a few hours enjoying the famous Gellert Bath and Spa.
Optional Free Public Tour (2:30pm) - Hungary has the largest Jewish population in
East-Central Europe and the second largest synagogue in the world. The Jewish quarter is listed on the UNESCO World
Heritage list of sights. The tour shows you not only the religious traditions but the other cultural art-, and
scientific background, the mutuality with the Hungarian history and evolution. It covers the history of the largest
synagogue in Europe, leads through the cemetery and the memorial garden, 3 other precious places of worship and the
hidden Jewish symbols of the neighborhood. We also pop in to the most authentic local pubs and cultural centers
which are the top meeting points for party people.
Day 5 - Budapest, Hungary - Bratislava, Slovakia - Vienna,
Austria
Today, we depart Hungary for Vienna, stopping on the way in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
Join our guide on a walking tour of the old town of Bratislava including the most important places and
historical sights, such as the Opera house, the Reduta, seat of the Slovak Philharmonic orchestra, the charming
squares and narrow lanes. See the St. Michael gate, the first University Istropolitana, visit St. Martin
cathedral (the coronation site), the Primatial Palace, former seat of the archbishop and the Old Town Hall.
Free time for lunch before we continue on to Vienna.
Day 6 - Vienna, Austria
Our morning walking tour in the
charming old streets of Vienna will include a visit to "Stephansdom", the seat of archbishop of
Austria, Hofburg, the winter residence of the Habsburg family. When we reach the famous
"Ringstrasse" we continue by bus to see Strauss - the Waltz king! Stop at the gardens of Belvedere palace
and contine to „Charles Square“ to visit the „Karlskirche“ inside - a baroque church with the Henry
Moore sculpture.
The afternoon tour will take us to the „Hundertwasser House“, an apartement building with unique architecturem
a visit to the Museum of the architect Hundertwasser and then to the world famous „Prater“
to take a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel with its unique view of the city of Vienna.
Day 7 - Vienna, Austria
The highlight of Vienna is a visit to the Schönbrunn Palace, the summer
residence of the Habsburg family. We will take a guided "Grand Tour“ with forty rooms including the
magnificent Hall of ceremonies, the imposing Gobelin Salon with its exquisite Brussels tapestries.
After our visit, we will take a lovely walk through the beautiful park to the Gloriette pavillion with the
fantastic panoramic view of Vienna.
At lunch time, we stop at the "Hofbackstube Schönbrunn“, where you will have the chance to watch the
professional sugar baker making the famous "Viennese Apple Strudel“. A fresh applestrudel + 1
hotdrink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate) is included in our day.
We will return to downtown Vienna to visit the unique Swarovski store on the Kärtner Street. Then enjoy free
time for shopping.
Day 8 - Vienna, Austria - Cesky Krumlov - Prague, Czech Republic
This morning we will leave Austria for Czech Republic. On the way to Prague, we
stop in the south Bohemia area to visit the historical town Česky Krumlov, a real pearl of this region. Walk
through the completely preserved 16th century Renaissance town. Visit the secind largest castle of the
Czech Republic and the baroque gardens.
After lunch on our own in the old town of Cesky Krumlov we continue to Prague, capital of Czech Republic.
Day 9 - Prague, Czech Republic
Our morning walking tour starts
at Venceslas Square at the statue of Saint Venceslas and the monument of Victims of the Communist Regime.
We continue to Prikopy, a pedestrian street to admire the Powder Tower and the
Municipal house. Discover the house "At Black Madona“, the Estate Theatre where Amadeus Mozart premiered
the opera Don Giovanni and the historical building of Charles University. Contine to the famous
astronomical clock at Old Town Square. Visit city hall and the chapel to see the 12 apostels from the
interiors of the astronomical clock.
In the afternoon take an optional stroll into the Jewish Quarter (Josefov), once the largest Jewish ghetto in
Europe. We will visit the Jewish Museum including Meisel, Klaus, Pinkas, Spanish Synagogues and the Jewish
cemetery. Or spend the afternoon exploring or shopping on own.
At the end of our tour, we will stop in the cafe of the Municipal House for a cup of coffee or tea with
dessert.
Day 10 - Prague, Czech Republic
Today we explore the Castle quarter. We will stop at the Strahov
Monastery founded in the 12th century and visit the Strahov library, the largest monastic library in
the country with more than 50.000 books.
Then it is on to Prague Castle to visit the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Golden
Lane and the beautiful Castle gardens.
After time for lunch in the historical Neruda Street where there are many restaurants, bars and shops. Take an
optional tour to the "Lesser Town“ to visit the Church of Our Lady Victorious with the
famous Prague Child Jesus (Bambino di Praga). We return to our hotel via the Charles Bridge. Or spend the
afternoon exploring or shopping on own.

Enjoy our final night together as we cruise along the river Vltava. Watch the sights of Prague go by
while having a wonderful buffet dinner with drinks.
Day 11 - Depart Prague, Czech Republic
Sad to say but our Budapest - Vienna - Prague singles vacation has come to an end. After breakfast it is time
to say goodbye to all your new travel buddies as we make our way to the airport and our flights home.
