ReykjavkIceland Singles Week Itinerary

Your vacation begins when you board your overnight flight to Reykjavik Iceland. Plan your flight to arrive in the morning so you will have free time to relax or explore Reykjavik.

Day 2 - Reykjavik, Iceland

After an overnight flight your plane lands at the Iceland airport (REK). You will be transferred to our hotel, shuttles will be running throughout the day. Today is a day at leisure, relax, stroll through town or take an optional tour.

Tonight enjoy our Welcome Dinner at loca restaurant

Day 3 - Reykjavik - Klaustur

VikToday our journey to the South shore begins.  South Iceland is a lowland region of lush farmland, striking waterfalls, sandy coastline, glaciers, active volcanoes and quaint towns and villages.  Stop at Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls at the foot of the impressive Eyjafjöll mountain range and o ne of Iceland‘s most photogenic landmark. Since the waterfall produces a lot of mist, rainbows are a common sight on sunny days.

On the way to Klaustur we drive along the south coast to Vík, a town with approximately 300 inhabitants and an official trading post since 1887. We will also view the stunning black volcanic sand beach south of Reynisdrangar.

Day 4 - Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Iceland’s largest national park at 5,000 km2 is a place of immense natural beauty The variety of landscapes is astounding in the Skaftafell area of the park, expect to see lush vegetation, icebergs, canyons, hanging valleys, ice tunnels and arches, glacial rivers, and much more.

Board a boat and sail among the icebergs on The Glacier lagoon, said to be one of the greatest wonders of nature in Iceland. Huge blocks of ice constantly break off the Breidamerkurjokull glacier, and large icebergs from the glacier float on the lagoon. The lagoon is not very wide but up to 820 feet deep which makes it the deepest lake in Iceland and if we are lucky we might even see some seals.

Day 5: Solheimajokull Glacier - Reykjavik

Solheimajokull

Our adventure begins with a drive along the south coast highway to an icy glacial tongue known as Sólheimajökull. It’s another-worldly scene, rugged and raw; a tangled, frozen wasteland. Armed with an ice axe and crampons, we advance on foot up the glacier’s icy slope and edge past deep crevasses into increasingly spectacular surroundings.

After our wonderful glacier hike we return to Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.

Day 6: Blue Lagoon

Blue LagoonA visit to the Blue Lagoon Iceland geothermal spa is an important part of our stay in Iceland. Today is our turn to soak up the scenic beauty and enjoy breathing the clean, fresh air while relaxing in the warm geothermal seawater. The water’s temperature is 98-102°F and the lagoon holds six million liters of geothermal seawater,

The Blue Lagoon has two steam baths and a cozy sauna. There's a waterfall in the lagoon that provides an energizing massage for shoulders and neck. Enjoy a mud bath with the free Silica mud.

Day 7: Reykjavik

Free day to explore Reykjavik, do some last minute shopping or click for an optional tour.

Tonight we gather for our Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant
