Vietnam Itinerary
Day 1: August 26 - Depart USA
Depart from your hometown on overnight flight to Hanoi Vietnam (Leave from Ho Chi Minh or from Phonm Penh) Best Single Travel will be glad to help with your flight arrangements.
Day 2: August 27 - Hanoi
Upon arrival be greeted at the airport and transfered to our hotel. Our singles trip begins with a city tour of Hanoi including the Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam, Ba Dinh square, President palace, a house on stilts, one pillar Pagoda, the old pagoda Tran Quoc, Ngoc Son Temple at Hoan Kiem Lake and a Cyclo tour in the Hanoi Old Quarter - D
Day 3: August 28 - Hanoi – Ninh Binh
The capital of Vietnam from 968 AD to 1010 AD during the Dinh and early Le Dynasties is Hoa Lu, which has left its legacy in two small temples. We visit these structures, dedicated to the Dinh and Le Rulers, then climb 200 steps to the top of Ma Yen mount for a fantastic view. We will take a sampan boat trip on a river through peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations to the grottoes of Tam Coc, surnamed "Inland Halong Bay". Upon our return to Hanoi grab a quick bite because tonight we are going to a Water puppet show. - B/L
Day 4: August 29 - Hanoi – Ha Long
In the morning we visit Hong Ngoc handicraft village. At Halong port, our Crew welcomes us onto the Junk. Enjoy a welcome drink, check into cabin and have lunch. A 3.5 hour cruise into Halong bay includes the amazing karsts: Mat Qui islet, But Moc islet, Cap De islet, Trong cave, Trinh Nu cave, to a Floating Fishing village ... and then explore Sung Sot cave. There's time for swimming and sun bathing. Enjoy a great sunset dinner and relax before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.

Day 5: August 30 - Ha Long - Hanoi
Early risers enjoy views of the Bay’s breath - taking beauty of the rocky Islands rising from the crystal-clear waters before we visit Tortoise Island, explore Lucon cave and swim and relax at Titop beach. Enjoy lunch on board before drive back to Hanoi. - B/L
Day 6: August 31 - Hanoi
Day free to shop till you drop at the markets of Hanoi or see the sites at your own leisure. - B
Day 7: Sept 1 - Ha Noi - Hue
Morning flight to Hue. After lunch we visit the Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the early 19th century. Before leaving the site of the Imperial city we visit the Imperial Museum. From the Thien Mu Pagoda we board a boat on the Perfume River to view the rural landscape at sunset. - B/L
Day 8: Sept 2 Hue - Da Nang – Hoi An
Visit the tombs of King Tu Duc and King Khai Dinh before departing to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach and Danang. Lunch at Lang Co Resort. Afternoon visit Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants 'homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market famous for it's clothing tailors. - B/L
Day 9: Sept 3 - Hoi An – My Son, Holy land
Ater breakfast we depart to visit My Son, the holy land of the Cham people, which has recently been recognized as a world heritage site. This afternoon we will have free time for shopping, fittings or relaxing at the beach. - B
Day 10: Sept 4 - Hoi An – Da Nang –
Ho Chi Minh
Return to Da Nang to visit the Cham Sculpture Museum, which boasts the finest collection of Cham sandstone sculptures in the world. Have lunch before transfer to Da Nang Airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Leisurely walk around Dong Khoi street for shopping - B/L
Day 11: Sept 5 - Ho Chi Minh
Today is our Ho Chi Minh city tour. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office.
We also visit the History Museum and the Jade Emperor Pagoda. We also visit the War Remnant Museum before continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!

Day 12: Sep 6 - Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta Today we transfer to My Tho to take a boat ride on the Mekong river. Visit an orchard island where almost all the tropical fruits of southern Vietnam can be found and tasted, the 150 year old Vinh Trang pagoda, which combines Vietnamese, Khmer and French architectures, Dong Tam snake farm and the floating market. Lunch at pleasant restaurant inside the garden. Return to SaiGon in the afternoon just in time to purchase that last minute souvenir. Tonight is our farewell dinner

Day 13: September 7 - Departure for Home
Time to say goodbye to Vietnam and all our new single friends who are not continuing on. Transfer to airport for flights home or Cambodia - B
