Vacation Day 2: Teton Naltional Park Tour - Jackson Hole Tram
Vacation Day 3: Full Day Yellowstone Naltional Park - Old Faithful Snow Coach Tour
Sit back and enjoy the scenery to Old Faithful in comfort as we are being chauffeured by an experienced, knowledgeable guide. Equipped with four oversized low-pressure tires, the snowcoach moves on top of the snow and will give us great views of the park scenery while touring Yellowstone. Our tour will take us to the Old Faithful Geyser making several stops along the way to learn about the Park's history, view thermal features, and take pictures.
Our day begins with an early morning pick up and breakfast will be a grab and go style on the way to Yellowstone. We'll travel 45 miles (one-way) of groomed trail to Old Faithful, making several stops along the way, with opportunities to get out and walk around. Points of interest may include Moose Falls, Lewis Canyon, Lewis Falls, and West Thumb Geyser Basin. The highlight of our day will be watching Old Faithful erupt as the contrast of the grayish-white steam against the snow and the stunningly blue skies creates a heightened sense of the Earth’s powerful forces. In winter Old Faithful regularly shoots sprays of water more than 100 feet in the air, erupts, the near-boiling water hits the chilly air forming “geyser rain.” Watch as these tiny icy crystals and flakes fall to the ground.
We will return to Jackson Hole just in time to have dinner.

Costumed actors tell tales of the jail and its occupants, and can even book you as an inmate.
Visit the History Museum, divided into several galleries and see how tourism started with the arrival of the Cracker pioneers and their covered Conestoga wagons. Learn about the ‘Tin Can Tourists,’ known for eating canned foods, and the vehicles they drove like a fully restored 1927 Ford Model T pickup camper. Time to step onboard the Old Town Time Trolley for an overview of the historic center of St Augustine. The Trolley route encompasses seven miles of fascinating history as recounted by one of their highly-trained tour conductors. We will get off at stop 14 so we can walk, the famous St George Street, a designated walking mall, located in the heart of the historic district. Take a self-guided tour of the historic National Monument and learn about its fascinating history. There are a variety of exhibits to view, daily Ranger Talks, a short video every hour that features cannon and musket firings and weapons demonstrations and presentations by costumed re-enactors.
Then we Trolley back to the Doubletree to relax and change for dinner. Put your walking shoes as on tonight we get to see the spooky side of St Augustine on our Walking Ghost Tour. First we walk the 1/2 mile back to St George Street to get our MoJo on at the MOJO BBQ, a premier barbecue, southern food, and craft cocktail destination. Locals say the historic buildings and cobblestone streets are filled with spirits who once lived in St Augustine hundreds of years ago. Tonight we visit historic cemeteries and other well-known landmarks, learning about spirits from the past, share paranormal investigations and St Augustine's most interesting haunted discoveries.
Vacation Day 3: Friday - Mission Nombre de Dios - Fountain of Youth - Winery - Cruise
After breakfast we will walk to the Fountain of Youth, stopping at the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, located at the Great Cross on the way. It was on these grounds that Father Lopez celebrated the first parish Mass and began the work at America's first Mission. At Mission Nombre de Dios, we will find numerous artifacts, both sacred and secular, from the very beginning of the Spanish settlement in St. Augustine.
Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is a 15 acre waterfront Historical Site where St. Augustine was founded. Stroll through this waterfront park where peacocks strut and shady oaks beckon us to stay. This is the location where Spanish Explorer Pedro Menendez de Aviles, in 1565, established the first and oldest continuous European Settlement in the United States. For over 4000 years, Native Timucua Indians prospered on this land, hear their story, see their skills for survival and learn their customs. Our exploration begins with a drink from the Legendary Spring and learn the history of Ponce de Leon's search and his Spanish claim for Florida. Then we will visit the burial grounds and explore the historical landmarks. After a wonderful morning we will take the Trolley to St George street for free time for lunch before we hop back on and hop off at Stop 12, the San Sebastian Winery. A short audio-visual presentation in the upstairs theater explains the art of winemaking and the importance of the 5,000 gallon stainless steel tanks where the wine is fermented and stored prior to bottling.
Next it's time to relax and cruise the waters of historic St. Augustine on an hour-and-fifteen-minute boat ride narrated by the captain. Enjoy picturesque views of historic Saint Augustine and dolphins and birds in their natural habitat, while cruising along Matanzas Bay to and from North Beach. Then we will leisurely walk back to the hotel stopping along the way for an optional dinner.

The park is the only place in the world to see all 24 species of crocodilians in one place. The Alligator Farm offers an optional intriguing zip line and aerial adventure course called Crocodile Crossing. You can coast at eye-level with exotic birds and dangle above crocodiles on one of two courses that reach up to 30 or 60 feet high. Visit the Park at your leisure as the rest of the afternoon is free.

Summer Fiesta on the Beach - Cancun
All Inclusive 5* Singles Vacation

$1189 - Ocean View Jr Suite Single
Start Your Summer off with an All-Inclusive Weekend at a 5* Resort in Paradise
Our hotel, the All-Inclusive Riu Palace Peninsula is located in the heart of Cancun. The resort is situated on a dazzling stretch of white sand beach and framed by tropical vegetation and crystal clear turquoise water.
The pools are definitely the centerpiece of the hotel. Separate, but close together, the hotel's three main pools -- infinity, sports activity pool with volleyball and basketball nets, and swimming -- are all located just before the beachfront and surrounded by neatly landscaped grounds. There's even a small archeological site by the swim-up pool bar.
Since Cancun is a tropical destination overflowing with miles of gorgeous Caribbean sea and beachfront, there's no questioning why most of Riu Peninsula's features are set outdoors. The beach is split into two sections: a sugar-sand beach punctuated with palm trees, loungers, and cabanas; and a rocky shoreline complete with crashing waves and natural vibe.
There is entertainment in the lounge-y outdoor, but covered, theater space, there's also an outdoor stage that hosts live music performances to kick off the night.
Plus Spend A Day Golf Carting On Isla Mujeres All Included in Your Weekend Package |
There's no lack of bars at the Riu Palace Peninsula. From the classy ocean-view lobby bar with nightly piano player, to the 24-hour Sports Bar, to the swim-up pool bar, Riu keeps your whistle wet. While Sports Bar, filled with live sports games on screens, pool tables, and video games, may be the only joint open 24-hours, most other bars on the property open at 10 a.m. and close around midnight. Outdoor watering holes include Trinidad, the swim-up pool bar that also has a covered landlocked section with seating, and Tobago, the beach bar. At night Tobago transforms into a beachside lounge spot with soft lighting, cabanas, and lounge areas -- although it's usually fairly empty as people tend to stick around La Plaza or La Latino, the two bars flanking the theater, or inside the snazzy lobby bar, Cabanga.
Of course a trip to Cancun would not be complete without a shopping visit to the famous downtown flea market. Shop for all those Mexican souvenirs and tee shirts you need to bring home. Don't forget to bargain! Our singles vacation package includes all meals, bottomless beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and a mix of really exciting fun activities and amazing entertainment.

Established in 1968, the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park is a living history museum that shows off San Diego’s early history and culture from 1820 until 1870 as it transitioned from Mexican to American rule. Dating from 1860, the blacksmith offers live re-enactments while the reconstructed Seeley Stable and Livery houses a collection of horse-drawn carriages, wagons and buggies. The Colorado House, built in 1851 was a successful hotel, now the reconstructed building is the Wells Fargo Museum that displays exhibits related to mining, banking and stagecoach travel. The park contains several historic adobe structures built circa 1830 including the Casa de Estudillo, one of the oldest mansions in California. The Mormon Battalion helped construct the First Brick Courthouse, it served as town hall, the mayor’s office and a schoolhouse. The historic district not only features heritage architecture but there are also shops and restaurants offering authentic handicrafts and cuisine.
Before we leave the area, we'll walk over to Heritage Park, to see examples of San Diego's historic Victorian architecture. The properties were all relocated from their original locations. Visit an 1880s working-class people's cottage without the amenities of gas, electricity, water, or sewer and San Diego’s first synagogue, which reflects the church styles of the late 1800s.
Then we board the Old Town Trolley and finish our loop of San Diego as we head back to the Embassy Suites.
Tonight we will wallk over to the Seaport Village, a 14 acre waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment complex recreating a harbor side setting of a century ago. Enjoy time for shopping before an optional dinner at one of the many restaurants.
Vacation Day 3: Whale Watching - US Midway - Gaslamp District
Today we spend the day on or near the water of the San Diego Bay, one of the best destinations to whale watch. This morning we embark on a whale-watching cruise along the California Coast, where we will likely see seals, seabirds, sea lions, and dolphins. While cruising listen to interesting facts about the whales, their migratory patterns, their ocean habitat, and other ocean species. Keep your eyes peeled for the grey whales, we might catch a glimpse of them or if we are real lucky, jumping up and making a big splash. Gray Whales migrate winter to spring from feeding grounds in Alaskan waters to calving lagoons in Baja California.
Lunch break time at Portside Pier. Enjoy fresh seafood, authentic Mexican flavors, pub fare, coffee, and gelato—all with a stunning 360° view of the San Diego Bay.
This afternoon we take a trip through American naval history at the USS Midway Museum. This enormous ship, known as the longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, now offers a range of interactive exhibits, a self-guided audio tour and numerous restored aircraft across its 4-acre flight deck and sections below. This marvel of engineering once housed more than 4,500 crew members across its various decks, and served in the US Navy between 1945 and 1992. Enjoy the audio tour, told through the stories of the ship’s former officers and sailors, visit some of the 65 highlighted locations throughout the vessel, covering its bridge to its engine room and explore the ship’s restored living quarters, including the galleys, sleeping quarters and officer’s country. There’s also 25 restored aircraft lining its deck and a range of interactive exhibits.
Tonight after Happy Hour, we can walk to the Gaslamp District, for dinner (not included) and lots of fun. Rising from 16 square-blocks, the historic Gaslamp Quarter has Victorian-era buildings and modern skyscrapers side by side, housing more than 100 of the city's finest restaurants, pubs, nightclubs and retails shops.
Vacation Day 4: Balboa Park - Zoo - Farewell Dinner
Today is all about animals and nature at the Balboa Park, home to more than 16 museums, performing arts venues, lovely gardens, trails plus the San Diego Zoo.. After breakfast it's our opportunity to ride the local bus 5 stops from the San Diego Depot into the heart of Balboa Park.
Since the animals are the livliest in the morning, the Zoo will be our first stop. The world famous San Diego Zoo is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary home to more than 3,500 rare and endangered animals representing more than 650 species and subspecies—including koalas, polar bears, penguins, gorillas, and more—with up-close encounters and a wild and fun atmosphere. We start with the 35-minute Guided Bus Tour that wil give us an overview of the Zoo and acquaint us with the various areas we would like to spend more time at. The Zoo's unique animal habitats include Elephant Odyssey, the Australian Outback, Monkey Trails, and Polar Bear Plunge. The zoo is famous for its breeding colony of koalas, the largest one outside of Australia. The koalas thrive mainly because their sole food, eucalyptus, grows abundantly on the zoo grounds. The zoo also maintains successful breeding groups of gorillas, tigers, giraffes, hippopotamuses, pygmy chimpanzees, Galapagos tortoises, and a wide variety of other animals. Its many notable exhibits include walk-through tropical rainforests, aviaries, a polar bear habitat with a chilled pool, an Asian river environment featuring tigers, and gorillas and Malayan sun bears in simulated natural habitats.
We will meet up for lunch before we exit the Zoo for a few hours of free time to explore Balboa Park. The Park is made up of more than 1,000 acres and offers 15 museums, various gardens, arts and international culture associations. All this makes it a place that offers something historical, horticultural, educational and recreational for everyone. With so much to choose from your afternoon will fly by.
Start off with an old favorite, the Balboa Park Carousel. Did you know this is one of a handful of carousels in the U.S. that includes the traditional brass ring game? Take a ride and try your skill by reaching out to grab the ring! The Balboa Park Visitors Center, located in the House of Hospitality in the Plaza de Panama can give you the most updated information on what’s happening at all the attractions in the park. The Spanish Village isn’t an art museum, but where you’ll find artists creating art that you can buy. Every object for sale here has been created by the local artists you’ll meet working in their studios. The Botanical Building, Timken & Gem Society museums are free to enter plus 16 out of the 17 gardens are all free to enter.
After a lovely day in nature we bus back to our hotel to relax and change for dinner. Stop at Hour Hour before we depart for tonight's farewell dinner at a local Seafood Restaurant.

Vacation Day 3: Mesa Verde National Park
About 35 miles from Durango is the Mesa Verde National Park. Today we will spend the day exploring the National Park that was established in 1906 to preserve and interpret the archaeological heritage of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years, from 600 to 1300 CE. Today, the park protects nearly 5,000 known archaeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. Sometime during the late 1190s, after primarily living on the mesa top for 600 years, many Ancestral Puebloans began living in pueblos they built beneath the overhanging cliffs. The structures ranged in size from one-room storage units to villages of more than 150 rooms.
Our first stop is at the Mesa Verde National Park Visitor and Research Center for an orientation of the park and to view native artifacts. As we depart the Center, we will see archaeological sites along the Mesa Top Loop Road, a 6-mile drive that can be described as a tour through time. Along the road, you’ll find short, easily-accessible paved trails to view twelve archeological sites, including surface sites, pit houses, pueblos and overlooks of kiva-type cliff dwellings—the ancient homes and villages of the Ancestral Pueblo people who lived here for more than 700 years. Our guide will point out some of the most notable and best-preserved cliff dwelling ruins, including Far View community, Spruce Tree House, Cedar Tree Tower and Balcony House. We will stop at the overlook of the famous Cliff Palace, the largest and most famous cliff dwelling with over 150 individual rooms and more than 20 kivas (rooms for religious rituals). Along the way we will stop to enjoy our provided lunch while appreciating the beauty of the landscape that was home to generations of Ancestral Pueblo people. Let's check out one of the local Brew Pubs for dinner tonight then we will go to the Wild West Saloon, Durango’s favorite and largest adult playground.
Vacation Day 4: 4x4 Wilderess Jeep Tour / Afternoon At Leisure
Enjoy an off-road expedition into La Plata Canyon, a hidden treasure nestled in the La Plata Mountains. Several small waterfalls and cascading rivers follow the rugged jeep trails along with lots of wildlife such as marmots, mule deer, elk herds, juncos, kingfishers, turkey vultures, red-tailed hawks and bald eagles. Our knowledgeable tour guide will regale us with stories of the old mining days and provide interpretation of the local geography, flora, and fauna as we travel to the top of Kennebec Pass. Once we arrive at the summit, get out, stretch your legs, and snap photos of Durango’s most iconic mountain peaks.
This afternoon is your time to shop and explore Durango on your own or with your new friends. Durango is the perfect place to shop 'til you drop with over 500 shops, from clothing stores and home & gift stores to bike and outdoor gear shops. Need to do something more active? Then go for a hike, try zip-lining, rent a kayak or an e-bike. Whatever you decide upon, you will have a wonderful afternoon.
Tonight we celebrate great times at the Diamond Belle Saloon, revered as one of the most famous original ragtime piano bars in the Wild West. The Belle menu includes some of the local favorite, served by the famous Belle Girls in period costume. Listen to good music and enjoy fine food at our Farewell Dinner.

Located in Tricentennial Park, Savannah History Museum allows us to walk through the city's history from 1733, spanning the American Revolution and Civil War, all the way to today! Since it is housed in the historic Central of Georgia Railway Train Shed we can also see exhibits highlighting Savannah's musical, cultural and artistic contributions from the famous bench from Forrest Gump to the life of Girl Scout founder, Juliette Gordon Low.
Seven blocks west from where General Oglethorpe landed is Savannah’s World Famous Pirates House, where our Lunch will be. Vacation Day 3: St Patick's Day Celebration ( Monday, March 17, 2025 )
It is wear your green day and what better way to celebrate than with the second largest St Patrick's Day Parade in the U.S. Floats and marching units hit the streets for three hours starting 10:15 am for Savannah’s 196th St. Patrick’s Day Parade, featuring more than 350 marching units and up to 15,000 people. The first parade in 1824 was more of a military spectacle, with soldiers from different regimens marching in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. For more than 196 years, the parade has racted thousands of guests to join in the city-wide celebration, by cheering for all the floats, bands, dancers, Irish groups and societies marching in the parade. Those marching include nationally and internationally renowned bands, divisions of the U.S. military, and the Budweiser Clydesdales.
After the parade we will walk over to River Street and City Market, the two main hubs for all the St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans. Spend the afternoon and early evening in these two places that will be jamming. Not only will there be live entertainment and activities to partake in, but there will also be interactive artists, photo booths and food and beverage areas.
Do you ever get spooked? You can be sure you’ll have a night of frights when we hop on the Ghost & Gravestones trolley. Our journey will take us throughout Savannah’s historic district, focusing on some of its most haunted sites, eerie legends and frightening residents. They bring the DEAD to life as this is one of America’s most haunted cities. And these aren’t the doe-eyed friendly ghost types, we’re talking folks who were tortured and murdered and have hundreds of years of pent-up anger just waiting to come out.
Vacation Day 4: Historic District - Prohibition Museum - Dinner Cruise ( Tuesday, March 18, 2025 )
After breakfast we will stroll the historic district and visit a few of the historical homes starting with the birthplace of the Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low's house. During our visit, a friendly and knowledgeable guide will lead us through the home, where we will learn the story of “Daisy”—Juliette Gordon Low’s nickname—and Girl Scouts. Original and period furnishings adorn seven spacious rooms with high ceilings. See unique architectural features, including elaborately carved millwork, decorative plaster ceilings, and the impressive staircase with its curved mahogany rail. Numerous works of art, including many pieces created by Daisy herself, are on display throughout the house. You may browse the garden and courtyard independently after our tour. Be sure to look for the monogrammed gates that are believed to be forged in part by Daisy herself.
Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters, built as a beautiful Regency style mansion in 1819 along with its adjacent gardens, carriage house, and slave quarters, allows us to explore the complicated relationships between the most and least powerful people in the city of Savannah in the early 19th century. On our guided tour explore period rooms full of exquisite decorative arts, interactive exhibits, and historic spaces filled with stories, all while learning about the people, both free and enslaved, who lived and worked on the site 200 years ago.
Let's stop for a picnic lunch at Reynolds Square, a quaint, tree-lined city square dating to the 1730s, with plaques, statues & historic architecture. No trip to Savannah is complete without a visit to Leopold's Ice Cream, named one of the Top 10 Ice Cream Parlors in the World. Since it is across from Reynolds Square, now is a perfect time for desert.
Then we travel back in time to the early 1900s at the American Prohibition Museum, as anti-alcohol rallies swept the nation and the “booze problem” was pushed to the fore-front of American politics. The true story of America’s struggle with the liquor question, the passing of the 18th Amendment, its impact on the nation, and the far-reaching consequences of the thirteen years of Prohibition all come to life within this Museum. Through immersive displays and state-of-the-art dioramas, learn how Prohibition and Temperance shaped thinking and culture for more than 200 years.
A dinner cruise is a wonderful way to celebrate our last evening together as we slowly cruise down the Savannah River. We will climb aboard one of the red, white and blue ships for dinner, live entertainment and a memorable tour of the harbor and city. Our delicious dinner features a beef carving station, fresh catch of the day, lemon & artichoke chicken with spinach, Savannah shrimp & grits, and much, much more! After dinner, one of the riverboat entertainers will play the hits from the 50s to today. Dance the night away or experience the refreshing river breeze while out on the spacious open-air deck while enjoying the sights and sounds of this historic city.

Are you ready to stand in 4 states at the same time? Four Corners Monument is the only place in the United States where four states intersect: Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. You can stand on that spot and truly be in four states at one time.
Overnight in Kayenta, AZ located in the Navajo County.
Vacation Day 3 - Monument Valley - By Horse or By Jeep
Today we spend all day visiting the famous Monument Valley Park, a red-sand desert region on the Arizona-Utah border. The park, an iconic symbol of the American West is frequently used as a filming location for Western movies. The valley is host to towering sandstone rock formations that have been sculpted over time and soar 400 to 1,000 feet above the valley floor. Combined with the surrounding mesas, buttes, and desert environment, it truly is one of the natural wonders of the world.
Enjoy a cookout lunch in the Valley and choose to tour Monument Valley by jeep or horseback with Navajo guides.
1) Take a guided jeep ride in Monument Valley that includes different aspects of Navajo culture. Enjoy the bumpy bliss of traveling to remote locations only accessible via a guide; the tales of history and Native American myth our guide shares with us along the tour; seeing the most beautiful and iconic parks in the country. You'll see a lot in a little time, and take home memories of the iconic West, that of the silver screen, and of sacred lands.
2) Famous actors and actresses rode horseback over the trails here, as they filmed classic westerns. Now you can ride the same trails as we participate in a guided horseback ride. There is no other place where you can experience a ride like this. The horse is an important, integral aspect of the Navajo culture and when you are riding you are directly participating in their cultural experience. The horseback tour is good for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders.
Overnight in Chinle, located in Northeast Arizona and adjacent to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument.
Vacation Day 4 - Canyon de Chelly
We wake up today at Canyon de Chelly National Park and monument, located in northeastern Arizona, completely on the tribal lands of the Navajo Nation. The park is considered one of the longest inhabited landscapes in the northwestern hemisphere with more than 4,000 years of occupation. It has ruins of indigenous tribes including Navajo and Pueblo Peoples and still houses about 40 residents within the canyons. There are over 2700 archaeological sites within the many canyons of Canyon de Chelly but only 13 of the 700 standing ruins have been stabilized, re-enforced, or protected from degradation.
After breakfast we’ll meet for our jeep tour that will take us back to Anasazi times. The Anasazi's inhabited the canyon from 2500 B.C.E. to 1300 A.D and were the first people of the canyon. Around the 1200’s they migrated from the canyon; throughout the southwest they left behind dwellings, handmade tools and wares. During our tour we will learn about the people and the events that went on in Canyon de Chelly. View the ruins of the early people, and admire their beautiful artwork in the forms of pictographs and petroglyphs.
This afternoon enjoy a very different type of scenery during a visit to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. The Petrified Forest is known for its fossils, especially fallen trees that lived in the Late Triassic Period, about 225 million years ago. The sediments containing the fossil logs are part of the widespread and colorful Chinle Formation, from which the Painted Desert is named.
Overnight in Flagstaff, AZ, surrounded by mountains, desert and Ponderosa pine forests.
Vacation Day 5 - Tusayan, AZ
At 1.6 million acres the Kaibab National Forest borders both the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon. Today we enjoy a beautiful drive through the Forest with stops at Sunset Crater (extinct volcano) and Wupatki National Monument (Prehistoric Pueblo dwellings) on our way to the big one – Grand Canyon National Park!
Sunset Crater will give us insight into what the earth was like in the last millennium. The lava flows and cinder rocks are frozen in time, appearing red and clear as if they had cooled down just last week instead of hundreds of years ago. Amidst the hardened lava, wildflowers and trees spout up, providing a gentle, colorful contrast to the powerful strength of the volcano.
Well-preserved rock-formed Pueblo dwellings in the Wupatki National Monument are evidence of an ancient civilization. Ancient pueblos dot red-rock outcroppings across miles of prairie. Where food and water seem impossible to find, people built pueblos, raised families, farmed, traded, and thrived. The pueblos all have a distinctive deep red color and were made from thin, flat blocks of the local Moenkopi sandstone.
Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon our tour leader will make sure we all understand how to use the free shuttles at the Canyon. Tonight let's enjoy the sunset.
Overnight in Tusayan, AZ, located at the South Rim entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park. Tusayan is a tiny town where everything is just a several-minute walk away.
Vacation Day 6 - Grand Canyon
Visit the Grand Canyon ALL DAY at your own pace using the Grand Canyon National Park's shuttle buses in and around the South Rim village! One of the Canyon shuttles depart from our hotel and takes you directly to the Visitor Center in the Park. Come and go as you please. The entire route roundtrip is about 40 minutes with the first bus leaving Tusayan at 8:00am and the last bus departs the Vistor Center at 9:30pm.
Kaibab Rim Route (Orange route) - the shuttle is about 50-minutes roundtrip if you don't get off the bus. Rim route stops include Grand Canyon Visitor Center, Mather Point and Yavapai Point Geology Museum.
Hermits Rest Route (Red Route): Explore this less-traveled route on the South Rim's western end as Hermit Road follows the rim for 8 miles with scenic overlooks.Westbound stops include Village Route Transfer, Trailview Overlook, Maricopa Point, Powell Point, Hopi Point, Mojave Point, The Abyss, Monument Creek Vista and Pima Point. Eastbound stops include Hermits Rest, Pima Point, Mojave Point, Powell Point and Village Route Transfer.
So get up early and start exploring. There are also lots of optionals activities that you can also check-out: Helicopter Rides, IMAX Theater, Mule Ride on the Bright Angel Trail.
Overnight in Tusayan, AZ
Vacation Day 7 - Oak Creek Canyon - Sedona - Cave Creek - Phoenix
We’ll travel through the scenic Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona today. After breakfast we drive south, past Flagstaff, onto Arizona State Route 89A, descending through a breathtaking series of switchbacks into a scenic, smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon. Known for colorful rocks and unique formations, Oak Creek Canyon is famous the world around for its spectacular scenery. Once we've snaked our way down the switchbacks, SR 89A winds a lazy course down the length of Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona. It's actually possible to enjoy the scenery here without leaving our bus, so keep your camera ready.
Go off road 4-wheeling, choose mild to wild in Sedona. Surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. Jump in a jeep and experience a thrilling adventure and spectacular scenery beyond words to describe. Our colorful Western Guides will show us the inner sanctuaries and secrets of the magical, mystical lands of Sedona – a place of peace for your soul, and joy for your heart.
