Learn to speak like a local in the beautiful Bologna, Italy

Buongiorno! Choose your language holiday in Italy’s foodie heartland. Our base is in the peaceful hills south of Bologna, where, as well as learning Italian, you’ll relax and enjoy delicious Italian food and wine in stunning surroundings. When we venture out to Bologna and to Ravenna, you’ll be able to soak up the atmosphere and test out your Italian in trattorias, food markets, shops, and perhaps a bar or two. Our host will always be on hand, in case you need any help.

Where you’re going to stay
Our villa is a beautifully restored large farmhouse, situated in rural Tredozio on top of the highest hill. Enjoy the peace and quiet and unforgettable views of the surrounding area and the Apennine hills. The sun rises from the Romagnole Apennines to warm up the large swimming pool and al fresco dining area, and sets behind the Tuscan Apennines. The hills stretch endlessly from the villa, and you can easily stroll on tracks around the villa, as well as simply relax with a drink in the large garden, gazing at the limitless view.

Painting in Italy

7 Nights and 8 Days Singles Painting Vacations in Puglia

Nicknamed the heel of Italy, Puglia, in Italy’s warm south, offers a charming laid-back atmosphere. The sun-baked land is dotted with fortified castles and whitewashed trulli, Puglia’s distinctive conical-shaped dwellings, and carpeted with a silvery sea of ancient olive groves. It also has an incredibly rich natural larder. The area produces most of the country’s extra virgin olive oil, excellent full-bodied wines and is famous for intensely flavoured olives, almonds and figs. Other specialities include orecchiette pasta, seafood risotto, fava beans and burrata, the supremely creamy cheese similar to mozzarella. You won’t go hungry between your painting holiday sessions here in Puglia.
