Join us for our return to Lake Tahoe and enjoy all 3 mountains (see multi mountain video tab below) collectively with over 10,000 acres of varied ski terrain. Totaling close to 300 trails & 61 lifts, there is certainly enough to keep us busy all week. Each mountain offers a unique mix from beginner to advanced slopes to enjoy. We have contracted with the various ski schools and arranged for instructors to give us private tours at each mountain so we won’t be wasting any time figuring out the best places to ski each day. Our private tours will give you the opportunity to enjoy the mountain with other singles at your level of ability and no need to fumble with a map. When you have one day at a mountain it is ideal to have the best ski guides leading your group. March is considered high snow season in the Sierra’s.

Our very luxurious hotel the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel (see hotel tab below) is located in the heart of South Lake Village and only a 1 minute walk to the main gondola. The gondola rises almost 2 miles from the ski village to the main lifts located in the middle of both the California & Nevada sides of the mountain. You can ski down in either direction ending in California or Nevada. We will ski two days at Heavenly, and one day each at both Kirkwood & Northstar.. this leaves you with one optional day to either ski Heavenly or just relax and enjoy the resort area. (hotel spa, bike the lake, or just a lazy afternoon of window shopping)

Our week will be filled with great skiing at multiple mountains, incredible food choices, and a fun singles group to share this all with. Plus, South Lake is famous for its entertainment including live music at multiple venue’s, gambling and lots of great bars for late night enjoyment. We have a very full week planned so come rested and hydrated so you can enjoy it all. “It’s a tsunami of fun.”

This is clearly one of our BEST singles ski trips. Winter Park has almost 3,000 skiable acres with terrain equally divided to accommodate all levels of ability. Serviced by an amazing 24 lifts including 7 High Speed Quads, 1 High Speed 6 Pack, 3 Triples, 7 Doubles and 5 Carpets for beginners. This is an incredible resort with almost unlimited slopes to explore, lots of restaurants & bars for dinners and happy hours, and best of all a cozy town for evening play!

Insiders considered Winter Park one of Colorado's great secrets, not only because of Winter Parks vast ski resources but also because of it's proximity to Denver making it an ideal weekend resort for locals and a SKI PARADISE for the rest of us.

The Area

Perfectly positioned next to the Continental Divide, Winter Park has the distinct advantage of being able to catch winter storms from nearly every direction. Western and Southern storms get trapped by the Divide. Northern and Eastern upslope storms often spread over the west side of the Divide and add to the snowpack. On average, Winter Park receives 369 inches of snow annually. Also known as Colorado's Favorite, Winter Park continues to be voted the number one resort by in-state skiers. Front Range skiers feel a sense of ownership about Winter Park. The resort is owned by the city of Denver, but operated by Intrawest under a 50-year lease. Located closest to the Front Range (67 miles from Denver), it will mark its 65th year of operation this season. The separate areas of Winter Park Resort are all interconnected with trails and lifts. Travel Destination - Africa

Africa Country Information

Africa with 54 countries, over 2000 languages, and every type of landscape you can think of, is the second largest continent in terms of both land area and population. No other continent comes close to it in size, variety of travel and pure, down to earth adventure. Africa is not always an easy place to travel alone so think group travel especially if you want to go on safari.

When thinking of vacations in Africa, safaris are usually the first thought, but the possibilities for adventure are endless. Where else on earth can you hear the roar of the largest waterfall, cruise down the longest river or climb the tallest free-standing mountain in the world?  You can shop handicraft markets, take a camel ride into the Sahara, cage shark dive or just relax on a tropical island.

Just as the scenery will amaze, the culture and history of Africa will enlighten. Explore the Arabic stalls of the North, the pygmy villages of Central Africa and the apartheid museums of South Africa. This continent has so much to offer. Africa should not be a once in a lifetime experience.

8 Day Italian Cooking Class Vacations in Tuscany, Italy
FOR Singles & Friends

Tuscany is world famous for its food, its rich culture and its stunning landscapes. Get lost in Florence’s tangle of ancient streets taking in the facades of its art-studded churches and museums. Take a walk around Lucca’s city centre which is almost completely closed off to traffic and surrounded by medieval walls – the ideal place to stroll around and window shop. Discover San Gimignano, a small hilltop city full of ancient towers, and a lovely place to while away the afternoon. There’s lots to discover on our Italian Cooking Holidays in Tuscany.
April, May, October in Tuscany are quite mild, not hot or cold. There are less tourists around and the cities are quieter. June and September are lovely and warm without being too hot. This is the ideal time to travel weather-wise but also the busiest time to be in Tuscany. July and August are the hottest & sunniest months. If you like the heat, this is the time to go.

The villa where the Cooking Vacation is held, is situated on a private estate, is of typical Sicilian style and dates back to 1848. Chosen because of its location, it has some beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Upon waking in the morning, to a clear blue sky, you can enjoy breakfast outside and soak up the sea views.

The luxurious bedrooms, all decorated in a modern style, are ensuite. Each room has a view of either the sea, almond grove or the Sicilian countryside.

Within the grounds of the estate there is an outdoor pool, which is encircled by almond and olive trees. After a dip, you can sit back and relax on the terrace and enjoy the sight and sound of the sea.
