AmsterdamCruise Day 1: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Saturday: May 16, 2020 / 6:00pm Embark)
Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.

Cruise Day 2: Cruising  (Sunday: May 17, 2020)
Tote bag paintingOur first day at sea should be relaxing but lots of fun. So let's get to know each other using the interesting Conversation Starter questions. We never know what the question is or the unexpected answers from your fellow cruisers. 
This afternoon is Paint Your Tote time.  If you can color then you will love painting a tote bag. So sit back and let your artistic juices start flowing.  And yes you get to keep the bag so get as creative as you like. 

 

Cruise Day 3: Edinburgh (Newhaven), Scotland  (Monday: May 18, 2020 / 7:00am - 7:00pm)
edinburgh castleMake sure you pack your walking shoes for Edinburgh. Stroll along the medieval Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyroodhouse to see the abbey and Queen Mary’s chambers. Savor the old town’s marvelous Georgian and Victorian architecture. Marvel at the impressive Edinburgh Castle, high on its volcanic crag with a fabulous view. Visit St. Giles’ Cathedral where John Knox once preached. 
Royal Mile EdinburghIncluded Shore Excursion - Hop-on Hop-off Bus - Experience the grandeur of Scotland’s brooding capital with a full-day hop-on hop-off bus pass of Edinburgh. Journey by coach to the city’s main attractions such as the formidable Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and the Royal Yacht Britannia, owned by the British Royal Family for more than four decades! Get on and off the bus as much as you like but don't miss a stroll along the Royal Mile and through Old Town, the city’s oldest quarter strewn with historic landmarks.

 

Cruise Day 4: Inverness, Scotland  (Tuesday, May 19, 2020 / 7:00am - 4:00pm)
dunrobin castleInverness is a city in the glorious Scottish Highlands. Teeming with bagpipe players and enthusiasts thanks to the city's annual Northern Meeting in September, Inverness also boasts a diverse music scene. Gaelic was the native language until the turn of the 19th century.
Shore Excursion - The Ultimate Dunrobin Castle Tour -  We start our day with a drive through the town of Invergordon, along the coastal road to Alness, passing the world famous Dalmore Distillery before climbing in to the hills through Ardross to one of the best views in Scotland, Millionaire's Viewpoint. Our drive descends in to the Glen through Bonar Bridge on our way to The Falls of Shin, where Atlantic Salmon can often be seen leaping the falls.
The Falls of ShinThen we continue through the villages of Lairg and Rogart on our way to Dunrobin Castle & Gardens. The castle's falconry display is amazing and the castle looks like it is straight out of a fairy-tale set in the Scottish Highlands. Dunrobin also has a wonderfully unique museum and taxidermy collection.
Our travel heads south through Golspie to the Royal Burgh of Dornoch, one of Scotland's most picturesque villages. The old Jail has been turned into a shop and the Cathedral has a collection of beautiful stained glass windows. Our last stop is a tour at Glenmorangie distillery, one of the most well known whisky brands in the world. 

 

bergen norwayCruise Day 5: Bergen, Norway  (Wednesday: May 20, 2020 / 1:00pm - 9:00pm)
View this lovely and charming Norwegian city from your cruise ship and you'll see how the city is nestled between seven mountains, seven fjords and the North Sea. The Norwegian King resided here, and many historical events took place in this busy port. These events come alive when you amble down the old streets of Bryggen, past picturesque, wooden buildings and the Romanesque-style St. Mary's church.
Included Shore Excursion - Private Guided City Tour + Funicular -  For over 400 years, The Bergen Wharf was one of the offices of the Hanseatic League (an alliance of trading guilds bergen finucularestablished to maintain a trade monopoly). We stroll through the wooden tenements and delve into bygone days and the history of the Wharf and the stories of those who lived and worked there. The narrow alleyways will make you feel like we stepped back in time to the era when the Hanseatic merchants dominated Bergen's trade. From the Wharf it's a short walk to the Bergenhus Fortress, with the royal stone hall and the Rosenkrantz tower.
Then you will have free time to take the funicular railway, one of Norway's most famous attractions to Mount Fløyen and see all of Bergen in just 8 minutes. The exciting trip up the mountain is a magnificent experience in itself. From Mount Fløyen, approx 1000 feet above sea level, we can enjoy the beautiful view and fjords surrounding Bergen.

 

Alesund NorwayCruise Day 6: Alesund, Norway  (Thursday: May 21, 2020 / 9:00am - 6:00pm)
One of Norway's most beautiful towns, renowned for its Jugend-style architecture and art nouveau style. Cruise visitors will immediately notice Alesund's unique layout, as it is built on islands extending to the sea, and offers scenic views of fjords and the Sunnmore Alps. Alesund is the fishing capital of Norway. Explore more of Alesund on a European cruise!
Included Shore Excursion - City train Alesund (70 minutes)- Board the train for a great overview of the city. We drive onto Keiser Wilhelmsgate and pass market square and the prison. Next is City train Alesund>Borgundveien, Ålesunds longest street and the previous main road to the city centre. Pass Volsdalen church and the "Color Line" Stadium. Now starts our climb up towards Fjellstua where we take a break to admire the spectacular mountain and sea views. On our way down we pass many historical sites and the city park before we drive past the oldest breakwater in Norway and the lighthouse from 1858. Then we cross Hellebroa which connects the two central islands Nørvøya and Aspøya together. On our way back to the cruise terminal we'll pass lots of beautiful Jugend style houses.

 

Cruise Day 7: Hellesylt, Norway  (Friday: May 22, 2020 / 8:00am - 9:00am) & Geiranger, Norway - (Friday: 11:00am - 5:00am)
norwegian fjordHellesylt is a small village in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village lies at the head of the Sunnylvsfjorden, which is a branch of the Storfjorden, and which the more famous Geirangerfjorden in turn branches off nearby.
Geiranger is a village in western Norway, at the head of Geirangerfjord. The Norwegian Fjord Center has multimedia on the history of the region and its inhabitants. Part of the steep Trollstigen mountain road weaves through the village, connecting to Flydalsjuvet lookout, which has views over the fjord. The fjord’s waterfalls, including the Seven Hellesylt NorwaySisters, the Suitor and the Bridal Veil, are visible by boat.
Included Shore Excursion: Mountain Highlight Dalsnibba / Skywalk Bus - We will join one of the most beautiful and spectacular bus tours in Norway! From Geiranger the bus follows a steep serpentine road to the top of Mount Dalsnibba, 4921 feet above sea level. On the way to Mount Dalsnibba the bus stops at the viewpoint Flydalsjuvet, one of the most popular photo lookouts of Norway. Enjoy the breathtaking panorama view on the mountain landscape with its famous Geirangerfjord from the new viewing platform "Geiranger Skywalk".

Cruise Day 9: Belfast, Northern Ireland  (Sunday: May 24, 2020 / 10:00am - 8:00pm)
giants causewayBelfast is Northern Ireland’s capital. It was the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, which famously struck an iceberg and sunk in 1912. This legacy is recalled in the renovated dockyards' Titanic Quarter, which includes the Titanic Belfast, an aluminium-clad museum reminiscent of a ship’s hull, as well as shipbuilder Harland & Wolff’s Drawing Offices and the Titanic Slipways, which now host open-air concerts.
Included Shore Excursion: Giant Causeway & Titanic Museum - Our first stop will be the Giant’s Causeway, an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, and legend has it, it was built by the Irish giant, Finn MacCool. Scientists alternative explanation is the Causeway is the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption.
Titanic Museum BelfastThen we drive to St George's Market, the last surviving Victorian covered market in Belfast for lunch and shopping. Enjoy the foods brought by local producers, as well as speciality foods from around the world. The market has a special emphasis on local arts and crafts. Live music from top local bands and solo artists will keep us entertained.
Our Titanic Experience includes exploring the shipyard, walking the decks, traveling to the depths of the ocean and uncovering the true legend of Titanic in the city where it all began. Titanic Belfast Titanic Interiorextends over nine interactive galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features. Berthed next to Titanic Belfast in the historic Hamilton Dry Dock is SS Nomadic, tender to RMS Titanic and the last remaining White Star Line ship in the world. Restored to her original 1911 glory, our visit combines the authentic heritage and atmosphere of this historic ship with the intriguing stories of her passengers

 

Trinity CollegeCruise Day 10: Dublin, Ireland (Monday: May 25, 2020 / 8:00am - Tuesday: 4:00am) 
Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland, is on Ireland’s east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey. Its historic buildings include Dublin Castle, dating to the 13th century, and imposing St Patrick’s Cathedral, founded in 1191. City parks include landscaped St Stephen’s Green and huge Phoenix Park, containing Dublin Zoo. The National Museum of Ireland explores Irish heritage and culture.
Temple BarShore Excursion: Dublin Pass & Hop-On Hop-Off Bus-  We will start off as a group and get onboard the Dublin Hop-On, Hop-off red bus tour which is has a 90 minute route. With over 30 stops covering all the city’s highlights including Trinity College, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Dublin Castle the choice is yours where you want to get off. Stay with the cruise leader or enjoy Dublin sightseeing at your own pace. You can visit The Guinness Storehouse, Croke Park stadium and Kilmainham Gaol to name but a few. 

 

Cruise Day 11: Day at Sea (Tuesday: May 26, 2020)
Sleep late, have breakfast in bed, jog around the ship, so many activities. Enjoy all the amenities of our cruise ship today as there are no singles activities planned. Listen to a cruise seminar, maybe learn how to make fruit or towel animals. The choice is yours!

 

Cruise Day 12: Le Havre (Paris), France  (Wednesday: May 27, 2020 / 7:00am - 7:00pm) 
Mont St MichelLe Havre is a major port in northern France's Normandy region, where the Seine River meets the English Channel. It's joined to the city across the estuary, Honfleur, by the Pont de Normandie cable-stayed bridge. Following WWII, Le Havre's heavily damaged city center was famously redesigned by Belgian architect Auguste Perret. Today it features many landmark examples of reinforced-concrete architecture.
Included Shore Excursion: Mont St Michel Visit - Enjoy the French countryside as we travel from the port of Le Harve to Mont St Michel. So worth the 2 1/2 hour drive as Mont-Saint-Michel is one of Europe’s most unforgettable sights and will take your breath away.. Built between the 11th and 16th centuries, it is set in the mesmerising bay where Normandy and Brittany merge. 
Rising hundreds of feet above a rocky islet amidst vast sandbanks exposed to powerful tides stands a Gothic Benedictine abbey surrounded by a medieval village.
We will have a few hours to explore the village and Mont St Michel's surrounding views. There are many things to see including museums, churches and the spectacular Abbey (10 Eur). The climb up to the Mont Saint-Michel is considerable: the pathway leading to the top is steep, narrow and cobblestoned and there is a lot of stairs, especially when going to the Abbey. You can explore as much or as little as you would like.

 

Cruise Day 13: Tilbury (London), England  (Thursday: May 28, 2020  / 8:00am - 8:00pm)
Leeds CastleTilbury is a town in the borough of Thurrock, Essex, England. The present town was established as separate settlement in the late 19th century, on land that was mainly part of Chadwell St Mary. It contains a 16th century fort and an ancient cross-river ferry.
Included Shore Excursion: Leeds Castle & Canterbury - Discover Leeds Castle, Maze and Grotto, Falconry Displays, Grounds & Gardens, Dog Collar Museum on our full day excursion. Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England’s medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon; a Jacobean country house; a Georgian mansion; an elegant early 20th century retreat for the influential and famous; and today one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain. Ride Elsie the Castle Train from the main entrance up to the Castle and the Black Swan Ferry will take us across the Great Water. There is an abundance of wildlife to see throughout the 500 acre estate including a great number of wildfowl and common woodland birds all year round.
Canterbury boat tourThen we travel to Canterbury, a cathedral city that was once a pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. Ancient walls, originally built by the Romans, encircle its medieval center with cobbled streets and timber-framed houses. Canterbury Cathedral, founded 597 A.D., is the headquarters of the Church of England, incorporating Gothic and Romanesque elements in its stone carvings and stained-glass windows. See the highlights of the city on our round-trip historic boat tour. Ride up to a small Franciscan island, home to a little chapel from the 13th century. Pass under the 12th century Eastbridge Hospital and King's Bridge, continuing past medieval buildings. Then enjoy wonderful views of Canterbury Cathedral.

 

Cruise Day 14: Brussels / Bruges (Zeebrugge), Belgium  (Friday: May 29, 2020  / 8:00am - 6:00pm)
BrugesBruges is an ancient city located in the northern part of Belgium, about 62 miles from Brussels. The city was once a main port of Belgium welcomed artists and nobles from Europe during the 15th century and is distinguished by canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Its port, Zeebrugge, is an important center for fishing and European trade. In the city center’s Burg square, the 14th-century Stadhuis (City Hall) has an ornate carved ceiling. Nearby, Markt square features a 13th-century belfry with a 47-bell carillon and a 272 foot tower with panoramic views.
Included Shore Excursion: Shuttle to Bruges & Private Walking Tour - The shuttle to Bruges is Bruges canalabout a half an hour and where we will meet our tour guide. Bruges maintained its medieval appearance thanks to various factors from the last centuries, which we will learn about during our tour. We will visit the city's most important places, such as the ancient city wall park, market square, Burg Square, VisMarkt, Groeninge Museum, Our Lady of Bruges, Old St. John’s Hospital, Brewery ‘De Halve Maan, the Beguinage and the ‘Lake of Love".

 

Cruise Day 15: Amsterdam, Netherlands  (Saturday: May 30, 2020 / 7:00am Disembark)
Cruise docks in Amsterdam 6:00am - Arrange your flights accordingly - Time to say goodbye to all your new single cruise friends as we make our way to the airport for our flights home.
