Quebec City lies at the southern end of the province of Quebec in Canada, 156 miles (252 kilometers) to the northeast of Montreal. Home to cobbled alleyways, classy bistros, 18th-century townhouses and pretty squares, this UNESCO World Heritage city boasts rich history, loads of character, and a proud French identity. Quebecers are known for being warm and welcoming. Everywhere you go, you’ll be met with a smile. People here are proud of their francophone culture and North American roots and will happily share with you their passion for this place, in French and English.
If you’re feeling the call of the wild, the Québec City area is famous for it's natural beauty, from peaceful lakes to rolling rivers to the glacial valley in Jacques-Cartier National Park. Less than an hour from Québec City, you find can yourself in larger-than-life settings of lakes, mountains and endless forests.
Old Quebec will delight and amaze you. It is the cradle of French America and the only fortified city on the continent north of Mexico. Stroll through the cobblestone streets, visit the best historic sites, soak in the region’s magnificent heritage. It’s festive, welcoming, and wonderfully safe.
Quebec City Singles Weekend Itinerary
Day 1. Whether you begin your Quebec City Singles Weekend by plane or as a post-cruise extension you are bound to enjoy this Canadian experience. Upon arrival you will check into the included hotel and prepare to meet with your host and fellow adventurers for a 1.5 hour walking tour of Quebec’s fascinating history on a tour of Old Quebec City. A friendly local guide will meet you in period costume and lead you through 400 years of exciting history as you wander the only walled city in North America. Visit Place Royale, considered the birthplace of French civilization in North America and see the magnificent Château Frontenac and the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Québec. Days 2 & 3. After breakfast you will receive a hop on/hop off ticket valid for 2 days on the red bus that runs through Veaux-Quebec, which will allow us to explore 15 top attractions of the city. Hop on and hop off as often as we please while taking in the beauty of Quebec City with a fantastic view from the open top deck and informative commentary as we travel and sightsee in the only remaining walled city in North America. 
Visit top attractions like Place Royale, Old Port and the Citadel of Québec which is the oldest military installation in Canada, built on top of the strategic Cap Diamant elevation. Buses depart every 30-45 minutes and we can hop on & off all day. Included in the two day activities will be a ticket for a guided cruise down the St. Lawrence River offering us the most beautiful view of Quebec City and a unique view of the Château Frontenac, the Momorency Falls and Ile d'Orléans. Take the time to relax on the huge outdoor terraces or enjoy the bars and bistros available on board! With 3 departures per day we'll have the flexibilty of planning the cruise around the hop on/off stops. After our full days of exploring the sights, we'll gather to say our goodbyes to our new friends at our Farewell Dinner (locationTBA) and bid farewell to this beautiful city.
Day 4. Time to ready yourself for your flight home. Be sure and bring home lots of photos, souvenirs and memories of time spent with new friends.
