Put on a life jacket and then jump into the river. You will be floating along the hotel in the Kwai river. The beautiful scenery surrounded will look even more remarkable when you view it from the water. Dine under the clear blue sky and see the river flowing at its own pace.

DeathRailwayVacation Day 4 - Sai Yok - Helfire Pass - Kanchanaburi - Bangkok
The exploration of Kanchanaburi Region continues with a drive to the Hellfire Pass. This world famous site features the fascinating museum chronicling the events of World War II and the notorious "Death Railway". This rail link was all but partly destroyed by the offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk along the ruins.
Then we step back in time when we visit Malika City 124, the "City of Culture and Tragedy".  Be amazed by the Thai peoples lifestyle of 100 years before: their houses, local food, tools and language used in daily life! Enjoy our walk passing Saphan Han where we can see people trading on boats. See traditional houses along the way, local food on the roadside, the form of money, mallika 124Thai language used at the time, the jobs of the Thais and how to cook. In this town, you can dress up in traditional Thai clothes and walk around the town.
Upon leaving this site we drive to Nam Tok and board a train ride through the breathtaking landscape and the wooden bridge built along the mountainside by the allied prisoners of the second World War. The train journey deliver us to Takilen Station where we meet up with our driver and return to Bangkok.

Vacation Day 5 - Bangkok - Ayuthaya
AyuthayaHeading out of the town we drive though the scenic countryside to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Siam from 1350 to 1767 AD. This glamorous city was all but ultimately destroyed by the hands of Burmese, however it is still fascinating to explore the ruined temples. Among these is Wat Phra Sisanphet, an impressive monument that was used as the royal temple by several kings. The following site is Wat Chai whose the constructing patterns are very interesting. We continue to Bang Pa In, which was served as the summer palace for many Thai monarchs. This structure has a captivating collection of marvelous pavilions in a variety of Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian architectural styles.

Vacation Day 6 - Bangkok - Chiang Mai
chiang mai
Fly to Chiang Mai today, the capital of the north and rich with historical and cultural heritage. Chiang Mail has over 300 temples and we visit the most famous one on top of Doi Suthep Mountain, Wat Prathat Temple. The temple grounds offer a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside. Chiang Mai has been always known for the exquisite handicrafts made from hill tribe people’s traditional wares. Set off on a short drive to the villages of Sankampaeng and Borsarng to see the various cottage industries including silk weaving, wood carving, silver ware and umbrellas making. On the way back to our hotel, we drive through the old city of Chiang Mai.
Tonight free time to visit the vibrant night market which is full of local treasures.

Vacation Day 7 - Chiang Mai - Chiang Dao Elephant Camp- Chiang Mai
elephant paintingToday we make our way through the scenic mountain backdrop to Chiang Dao Elephant Camp, which is 30 miles northwards of Chiang Mai. Visit the elephant camp set in a lush jungle area and watch the many elephants perform amazing feats of strength and skill at the command of the mahouts. The demonstration includes elephant bathing in the river, working in the jungle, dragging and pushing logs. Even see elephants playing basketball and painting. The highlight of the day is our exhilarating elephant trek through the jungle, past bamboo trees and hanging creepers.
bamboo raft trip along the Mae Taeng RiverThen relax as we board a short bamboo raft trip along the Mae Taeng River. Next we drive a few miles to a Padong "long neck" tribe village. The women of the tribe wear long brass coils around their neck which actually pushes the collarbone down, giving them the appearance of an extended neck. This tribe has come from Burma as refugees in recent years due to the persecution of the Burmese government. Spend some time in the village before we drive back to Chiang Mai.
Relax before tonight's dinner show at Kantok restaurant. Sit on the floor and eat native treats from little baskets and enjoy the traditional show

Vacation Day 8 - Chiang Mai - Pattaya
Sancutary of TruthAfter a short flight back to Bangkok, we head to Pattaya, a city on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast known for its beaches. A quiet fishing village as recently as the 1960s, it’s now lined with resort hotels, high-rise condos, shopping malls, cabaret bars and 24-hour clubs. Upon arrival, we check in to our hotel, the Amari Garden before visiting the Sanctuary of Truth.
The Sanctuary of Truth, a gigantic wooden construction covering more than 34,444 square feet, was constructed according to ancient Thai ingenuity and every square inch of the building is covered with wooden carved sculptures. Within this complex, visitors will understand Ancient Life, Human Responsibility, Basic Thought, Cycle of living, Life Relationship with Universe and pattaya walking streetCommon Goal of Life toward Utopia.
Tonight go out in a group and check out Pattaya's famous Walking Street with different sorts of venues as you make your way along it. Starting from the Beach Road end, there are mostly restaurants, then go-go bars and beer bars, then nightclubs and live music bars. At about the halfway point is the famous Walking Street Tree (there’s only the one), around which you will find mostly ladyboy bars and clubs. Continuing towards Bali Hai Pier, you will see more tailors and gem shops as well as more hotels.

Vacation Day 9 - Pattaya - 3 Island Cruise
koh rinToday we enjoy three interesting islands off the coast of Pattaya. The island of Koh Pai features several undisturbed natural beaches with a variety of coral clusters and ocean habitats for the avid snorkelers.
Koh Rin is another uninhabited island, used by the Royal Thai Navy as a test and exercise grounds. The island encompasses some of Thailand’s most spectacular shallow coral reef formations. Once again, snorkelling enthusiasts are amply catered for, whilst fishing rods and bait are provided for the eager fisherman.
Monkey IslandNext stop on the tour is the island of Koh Ped literally translated as Duck Island, although there is not a duck in sight there are monkeys everywhere. Koh Ped or perhaps more appropriate, Koh Ling (Ling meaning monkey) has a resident population of Thai Samae monkeys, but once again no human inhabitants. The monkeys over population of the island a natural, self sustaining food source is no longer present on Koh Ped; as such they are solely reliant on the tour boats as a source of food at present, whilst conservation strategies are being discussed.
Tonight enjoy our Farewell Dinner before partying the night away.
